AIR POWERED VEHICLE; COULD THIS BE REAL

AIR POWERED VEHICLE; COULD THIS BE REAL
A compressed air car is a car that uses a motor powered by compressed air, which is stored in a tank at a high pressure such as 30Mpa (4500psi or 300bar) . Rather than driving engine pistons with an ignited air- fuel mixture, compressed air car uses the expansion of compressed air in a similar manner to the expansion of steam in a steam engine.
Gasoline is fast becoming a fuel of the past, considering the fact that the petroleum that is used in making it is gradually running out.
It pollutes the air that’s becoming increasingly unhealthy to breathe, and people no longer want to pay the high prices that oil companies are charging for it.
Automobile manufacturers have spent lot of time and money to find and develop the fuel of the future and the question is- what will this fuel be? Barring the various ideas that have been suggested by different sources, manufacturers think that, if achievable, air could become an even better energy source.
At a first glance, the idea of using air as fuel seems almost too good to be true. If we can use air as fuel, why think about using anything else? Air is all around us. Air never runs out. Air is none polluting, air is free.
The idea of using compressed air to power a vehicle isn’t new: early prototypes of an air-powered vehicle date as far back as the 19th century, even before the invention of internal combustion engines.
A couple of laws of physics (gas laws) have stressed the fact that gases (air) can be made to store large amount of energy by means of compression.
OBJECTIVES
The basic objective of this research is to come up with a means to make use of air extensively as a fuel to power our vehicles. This ultimately creates an alternative energy source and invariably, a safer environment.
The discovery of crude oil as fuel was a very welcome discovery when it came up. Engineers, over time have done a lot in utilizing this natural resource as an important source of energy mostly employed today as a means of powering our various machines. The increasing exploration of oil makes scarcity of oil very imminent in the nearest future, hence the need for an alternate source of energy that can be used instead of petroleum. This research is borne out of a quest to seeing how air can be employed to fill this imminent void.

MATERIALS
1.    A complete automobile engine (pistons, crankshaft, engine block, cylinder head and so on)
2.    An air tank; often made of carbon fiber for weight reduction while maintaining strength. Carbon fiber safely holds air at a pressure somewhere around 4500 psi (www.wikipedia.com).
3.    A mechanical compressor
4.    A motor
5.    Bio- fuel or Fossil- fuel
6.    Air transport channels (hoses and pipes)

WISE SAYINGS

This is one of the best words of wisdom I have come across recently. Please pass on only to genuine people.

  SOLID WORDS FROM COLIN POWELL

The less you associate with some people, the more your life will improve.
Any time you tolerate mediocrity in others, it increases your mediocrity.
An important attribute in successful people is their impatience with
negative thinking and negative acting people.
As you grow, your associates will change.
Some of your friends will not want you to go on.
They will want you to stay where they are.
Friends that don't help you climb will want you to crawl.
Your friends will stretch your vision or choke your dream.
Those that don't increase you will eventually decrease you.

 Consider this:
Never receive counsel from unproductive people.
Never discuss your problems with someone incapable of contributing to
the solution, because those who never succeed themselves are always
 first to tell you how.
Not everyone has a right to speak into your life.
You are certain to get the worst of the bargain when you exchange
 ideas with the wrong person.
Don't follow anyone who's not going anywhere.

With some people you spend an evening: with others you invest it.
Be careful where you stop to inquire for directions along the road of
 life.
Wise is the person who fortifies his life with the right friendships.
If you run with wolves, you will learn how to howl. But, if you
associate with eagles, you will learn how to soar to great heights.
"A mirror reflects a man's face, but what he is really like is shown
by the kind of friends he chooses."
The simple but true fact of life is that you become like those with
whom you closely associate - for the good and the bad.

 Note: Be not mistaken.
This is applicable to family as well as friends.
Yes...do love, appreciate and be thankful for your family, for they
will always be your family no matter what.
Just know that they are human first and though they are family to
you, they may be a friend to someone else and will fit somewhere in
 the criteria above.

"In Prosperity Our Friends Know Us.
In Adversity We Know Our Friends."

"Never make someone a priority when you are only an option for them."

"If you are going to achieve excellence in big things, you develop the
habit in little matters. Excellence is not an exception, it is a
prevailing attitude.".. ......... ......... ...Colin Powell
